Because people are no longer allowed to touch things

ree

It began in 2020, and no one realized what was going on. They began to shame everything that was unique to the human experience, to being a human being. People were afraid but they thought it was temporary, because who would be that sinister? And why?

They were okay with it because it was temporary, so they waited for things to return to normal. They continued to sacrifice knowing that eventually everything would return to normal. But then they began to use a strange phrase, the new normal. They talked about how there was going to be a period, where we needed to slowly figure out what that could look like, and most people didn’t realize that nothing would ever be normal again, and this waiting period was not waiting. It was conditioning. Slowly, the took away more and more, until you would turn on the news to figure out what rights you still have, whether you can go outside, travel unrestrained, eat in public.

Gradually, they were programming us to know that we were dirty, and that the world did not belong to us. It belonged to everyone, which is no one, except people who you don’t see, The people who don’t want us around. The people who believe that the world belongs to them because they think they purchased it long ago, from the Native Americans. They believed they tricked them into selling their piece of the world, but they didn’t. The Native Americans were tricked because they were more human. They didn’t see the need to steal an entire world, the world should be big enough for everyone. Why would anyone need an entire one?

The New Normal operates on the idea that the world can be taken in this way, taken as if could ever belong to anyone. They aimed to take it and lock us down not to protect, but to keep away. They wanted to steal the world and encage us like our houses were cages in a zoo, a zoo that they own, a zoo that became our prison, through fear.

To be continued...

I think the D stands for diesel, But it really stands for dreams,

I sell your dreams, because the second you

Hand me a 20, your dreams are mine

Because you don't sleep when you don't sleep

When your trying to fix what's not fucking broken.

But, it's not my fault.

Because I live in a world,

That tells you that black lives matter but hispanics sell drugs.

And hispanic is a word used because white people can't tell the difference

Between a puerto rican and a mexican or a cuban and someone from spain

ree

But you can't call a Jamaican African because black lives matter.

So I sell brown things, in the desert because people with money decided brown goes with brown.

They call me D Boy because, most people get a name. I don't have one.

I get a letter, because I don't have an identity, because

The world most see is either two toned or colored.

No room for brown/

We don't exist. We get no revolution. We assimilate.

ree

We become Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

ree

It's funny, she has the name of a murderer.

He slaughtered an entire civilization.

So when you see me, on the corner.

Remember I hold a back-pack because only white and black carry suitcases.

Brown stays outside.

Because we, I don't exist.

All lives matter. Get it right. So brown children can see their father's instead of having them get shot on street corners selling things for black and white leaders,

While brown people die in the third world.

All lives matter. And dogs are smarter then humans, because they can't see color.

ree

It's funny isn't it? Seeing like a color-blind dog. Must be great to live in America.

Not for her.

Her picture is not on here because she doesn't exist. not to them.

We have no heroes, only heroin, because our heroes are dead. In unmarked graves, no one visits because they don't know where they are.

How many brown children grew up without fathers, because the world stole them.

Sometimes a little boy with black hair visits me at night, he comes and sits on the foot of my bed and smiles.

He is 9 years old, but he can't speak because he's just an idea.

His eyes are blue like my uncles, and like someone I haven't seen in a very long time.

He used to scare me, but I'm alright with him now because he was real and even if it's just in my quiet moments, he comes back sometimes to remind me that I stole something from him.

In 2011 I got an abortion, I used to believe that it wasn't killing.

I changed my mind because of my occasional visitor.
