I made friends with a dead girl in the hospital

Well she wasn't dead then, but she is dead now,

And she said something that made me very sad,

She told me

You're very lucky, I don't get that much of a chance to live, please live fully, don't waste it. Even if it's hard sometimes, be happy, if you can't do it for you, do it in my memory.

So I do, but when I was in high school and very sad, I wanted to kill myself for a little while, so I went to the woods, and she found me.

And she said

If you continue, I will visit you, in your dark times, and let you know you are never alone,

And I said why are you always with me?

And she said no, silly I am a symptom of a sad sub-conscience mind, look around they are all around you.

So I said who?

And, she said your fellow human beings, silly.

They are crying inside all at different times, and saying

Sometimes, in my dark moments I feel very alone, do you relate?

Reach out to them, she insisted.

So I try. I try every day.
